Georgia High School Football Stadium Boasts 'Largest Scoreboard in U.S.'
Norcross High School will bring fans closer to the action with huge new LED video display system.
There may be teams with more Georgia football championships than Norcross High School, but there’s no equal to what’s been erected at one end of Blue Devils Stadium.
On Aug. 19, Norcross High will officially unveil what it is calling the “largest sports and entertainment video display for any high school in the United States” -- a huge LED scoreboard that rivals what you might find at some college stadiums.
The new scoreboard, which is integrated into the school’s stadium, measures 29 feet, 5 inches by 51 feet, 5 inches (1,513 square feet), and its 518,400 pixels and 1,555,200 diodes will treat visitors to the “highest definition display screen for any secondary school entertainment venue,” the school said in a news release.
